That’s right thats me as Doctor Emmett Brown on the flyer with 7even:Thirty as Marty McFly. Only we could pull this off. This is my Favorite movie trilogies ever and on my personal top 5 movies of all time. I want to thank Tim Avery at Avery Photography for taking the photos for all the posters we did for this event. Tim had fun shooting this stuff and we did also. I’ll never show the original Venom and Myself as dock. Maybe next week I’ll show some behind the scenes of the photo shot.

7even:Thirty will be rocking the mic and who knows maybe a few special guest.  Maybe we can’t say right now.

The 80s babies party 2: Electric Boogaloo is coming in Oct. I’m going to see if I can get Soul Powered Art show 2: Electric Boogaloo on the same weekend. Venom and I can make it The ELECTRIC BOOGALOO TURBO weekend. More on that later.

I did the push card design for this EVENT. Why didn’t promote it on my site. Because you guys should just visit iamseven.com (which links to the myspace) for all the new stuff Seven* studioz related. It was double sided but i like this side better. Where ever I saw it was turned up this way and not the other side. I build the Mario (which is easy. He’s just squares or pixels people.) all done in Illustrator CS. All but the filter I used to get the pixel look. I was kinda happy with it. The other designer before me used Pac-man. (they did a sub par job also. I said it. The file wasn’t even the right size. Then she said i changed the size. Really? HA) Look, Pac-man is for the people who were like 12 or older in the 80s. This is an 80s Babies party. Sure we played Pac-man. Now Mario was the true 80s Icon because how he changed “the Game.” Super Mario Bros. (1985) was a revolution plus he was around since Donkey Kong (1981).

Arian - I don’t know her very well but everytime I talk to her she is very silly. Which is cool. She got engaged recently and put a album up call “MY PRECIOUS” with photos of the ring. So i decided to Gollum her out. I hope she likes it.

Cocky McFly - with his Patented Peace symbol adding +15 Freshness to every goodbye or photo. Haha. He buttons his polo all the way up and rocks the torn jeans. I’m serious he is the SLAM EVIL! fashion specialist. He was suppose to help me get fly for the SLAM EVIL! art show. I say SLAM EVIL! alot. SLAM EVIL!

DJ Venom - I wanted to get his grumpy nature in there. He’s not grumpy often really. Also he does stand like that sometimes. When I showed him this he said, “how you going to draw the way I stand… I know I’m pigeon toed” Special Edition coming soon.

Merc B! Williams (MERCENARY BITCH!) - I want to get him with his glasses on which I don’t see him wearing only at the apartment. Now the finger guns are to let you know you have a contract out on your life. Seeing that Merc is a Mercenary he’s trained at the art of Rat Killing. (Rats are ratty @$$ women.) Now Merc B! you need to come on More SLAM EVIL! travels and stop being mad about you not going. We going to the Roots, Big Daddy Kane, and MC Lyte in September at the HoB New Orleans. You better come.

Okay, over a week has past. I got one small headache Wednesday but pushed on. One of the problems I’m seeing is that 80% of the restaurants don’t really have bottle water. I hate drinking Tap water because in Jackson it taste like Lead. Which also isn’t good for me. So now I’m forced into the Sierra Mist or Sprite world. It’s soda but no Caffeine. Plus how are you going to eat spicy Popeye’s chicken without the extra stomach acid? I tried Tea, which has Caffeine in it (surprise), and it still taste as bad as i remembered. It taste like medicine, which i don’t like much. Tons of water, One Sierra Mist, lot of apple juice and fruit juice. I am feeling refreshed when i sweat. Which is great.
Also what the $%#@ is Juice?

Wow. I was out too late everyday this weekend. It was funny but now I’m really crappy. I don’t regret it but man am I sleepy.  This is going to be a long post. After the break for you front pagers.

FRIDAY: DJ Venom’s Sneaker Ball

DJ Venom the Human Torch with his Dinosaur Jr. Dunks. He had two pair.  This guy was running the whole night.  I don’t think he touched a turn table once the whole night.

DJ Mr. Nick, It seems I’m the only one that can get a photo of him.  Jesus’s Mexican cousin.

Angelica and myself.  I don’t normally go out on Friday nights.  It’s what I call my “old man nights”  I would be in the bed around 11 or 12 so I can be well rested for my next day.  You have to support family when they do stuff.

Cocky McFly and the infamous Guillaume Delorean came into town for the weekend.  One of the main reasons I got out the house.  These two really love Seven* Studioz to death.  You should too.

It’s hot up in Seven* Studioz so most people will hang outside (Tim and myself) and then go back into the the oven.  I left around 1 or 2am.  Party didn’t stop until 6am i think.

Saturday: Sal & Mookie’s + B-Boy Paradise

As a gesture of kindness, I treated my friends to Sal & Mookie’s. Sal & Mookie’s is pretty high but also VERY GOOD.  If you live in Jackson or around Jackson, you should definitely check it out.  I got some gift cards for some design work I have done.  I invited Thabi (who is in Honduras bitches.), Ezra (who was asleep), Pat (got called in for work)  Angelica (made it) Venom (made it) and Jerriod (fashionably late but made it.)

Venom got a B-52 and we wondered why it wasn’t mixed.  I mean he mixed it but come on.  Really?  If it’s a mixed drink you would think some mixing would happen.  (drink if you are of a legal age.  DJ Venom is but doesn’t endorse alcohol in anyway. That is unless you don’t want to feel feelings anymore.)

Half Chicken, half Shrimp and Sauted Onions.  Oh.. so good. It was a pool of grease laying in the middle of pizza.  All of us were a little scared at first but that changed.

Jerriod have The Chicken Pasta whatever it’s called.  Notice the big branch of Rosemary chilling in the food.

We clowned on this for a minute because wez don’t be eating fancy food much. No sir wez don’t.

I will also be selling the 7 new Prints plus 2 more i never made prints of (Run to the Sun and Soulphones). I will be taking hold of the main Gutterspaced.com in the next week as a base portfolio site. Don’t worry Steam will still and always be around. (unless I die from stress or kidnapped and tortured like in movie Hostel.) I’ll be doing some cleaning on the blog over the next few weeks.  So look out for new sections or sections being completed for a change.

It’s was a good new years party. I was surrounding by friends and my extended seven* family. It was a good time for all. Hope to having big things coming in the new year for Seven* Studioz. Look out on Valentine’s day we are going to be doing something for you ladies out there. Because we all know the holiday was invented for you women. Don’t lie. There is only one relationship that I have been in that I got something for V-day. The rest of them didn’t think guys should get anything for it. Well guess what in my world it isn’t. I would like a cd, dvd, video game or something. No candy ladies. Got to watch my figure.
Still kinda busy. I have a Logo, Cd cover and still unfinished push card from last year to finish. The client is very picky and can’t tell me what they want. I can’t remember being unable to please someone, so I think I will just kill the project and keep my kill fee. I have a meeting later on tonight with Skipp Coon. It’s been a busy month and everyone want there project done by next week or the end of the month. The busy season for me has started.

This is double sided 4×6 push card and 11 x 17 poster Nzinga’s models. I was at the photo shoot kinda art directing the whole thing. It’s funny because some of the poses I had them do weren’t the ones Nzinga picked. I had some pretty rad stuff but run off the mill will always win.

I had to cover her goodies with those ornaments. I originally had one of the spraypaint bubbles over it but she didn’t like it. We have to do what the client likes. Plus, sometimes I just don’t feel like fight for it.

I just recycled the background on this one. Because She choose not to pay full price for a design on the 11 x 17 poster so I charge her for upscaling and changing the photo. Quick Mask + Intuos3 graphic tablet, I think i love you.
